Two years on from establishing HSP Advanced Equine we are thrilled with the results from our Chilled Saltwater Treadmill programs. Thank you to all our wonderful clients.

We really enjoy consulting with you on your horses needs to tailor individual programs to suit. Our most popular are our 21 day and 28 day full care programs.

We recently had the thrill of Living Legends Beauty Generation (pictured here) and Santa Ana Lane here on a 21 day program, preparing them for a life after racing competition.

We will work with your vet on a tailored program and keep you up to date every step of the way. We understand it can be a little overwhelming when your best friend has been injured or is in recovery, so we are always happy to discuss your needs.

Active Spelling

‘Extend your horses Future’

We know Racehorses need to be actively stimulated and a key consideration of ‘Active Spelling’ is creating the mental change that can occur through letting them be horses again while retaining fitness.

Most Horses don’t like being boxed, and as herd animals, whilst they thrive on routine they like to be horses.

Our ‘Active Spelling’ program combines spelling in a paddock with 3 weekly treadmill sessions.

We can provide pick up and delivery $50 within Ballarat area for horses taking advantage of 14, 21 or 30 day Fitness Program’s. Contact us for details on pricing for further away trips.

Transport provided in 3 horse Stallion angle float with room for large horses.

About Us

Farm Manager Troy

Troy has been with Advanced Equine since it’s inception in 2021.

Formally a very talented farrier with a firm knowledge and understanding of the mechanics of the horse.

Troy rides and competes in the sport of Eventing which means he knows what is required of our equestrian athletes.

The Feed lady Anne

The whole Ethos of HSP Advanced Equine is driven by Anne’s love of the horse.

A career banker, now retired and dedicated to improving the wellbeing of all equestrian athletes.

Anne is the founder of Horse Shepherd Equine Sanctury and now Advanced Equine to provide a wholistic facility to extend each horses future.

Rehab carer Amber

Amber is no stranger to the equestrian community. An avid photographer, she is well known by riders from her stunning photos at competitions.

Amber has an extensive knowledge of horses and brings her skills and dedication to every animal in our care. Her specialty is caring for the rehabilitation horses.
